We offer a variety of general dentistry services, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. When you see us for general dentistry, we will clean your smile and make sure it stays healthy and beautiful.

Dental Cleanings and Exams

The best way to care for your smile is to prevent damage in the first place. When you visit us every six months for routine dental care, we can help you keep your smile bright and brilliant. During our dental cleanings and exams, we will clear away all plaque and bacteria. Then, we’ll strengthen your enamel with fluoride treatment before sending you on your way.

We examine your mouth during every visit, looking for signs of gum disease, tooth decay, and oral cancer. If we find any signs of gum disease, we will treat your smile right away to prevent further complications. On the other hand, if we find signs of oral cancer, we will send samples for testing immediately. As for tooth decay, we can treat your smile with dental fillings or other dental procedures to keep you healthy.

Treating Cavities

If you experience tooth decay, we will treat your cavities in our office using the least invasive methods possible. Depending on the level of decay we see, we will offer dental fillings, root canals, or even extractions.

A dental filling is minimally invasive. For this procedure, we would clear out the decay and fill in the space with a tooth-colored composite mixture. For more advanced damage or decay, we may recommend a root canal. The root canal procedure clears away decay down to the tooth’s root. We can do a root canal to save your natural tooth’s root structure and then fit you with a dental crown to retain function.

However, tooth extractions are sometimes necessary. If you need an extraction, don’t worry. With modern technology, extractions are easy and painless. Plus, new tooth replacement options look and feel like natural teeth.

Emergency Dentistry

If you are in severe pain, then we will make ourselves available to help. Here at the office of Michael T. Rosen, we care about our patients and we’re here for you when you need us. Instead of living in pain, pick up the phone and give us a call. Dr. Rosen will make himself available to any patient in dire need the very same day.

Sedation Dentistry

Dentistry scares a lot of people. Though we know the importance of our work, we understand that it can make many people anxious. That’s why we offer sedation dentistry to our patients who need it. We can provide nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, in addition to anxiety medications to take prior to your appointment.
